Tell us what you need and how to reach you. Photos and measurements are optional.

Landline or mobile. We often answer a quote fastest by phone.

Four digits. We deliver everywhere, so this only tells us where the load is going.

Describe the timber or product you need, and the quantity if known.

Measurements (optional)

In millimetres. A gate, a screen door, a louvre panel and a fire surround are cut to a hole in your house, so the opening is the specification. Leave these blank if you are ordering from the standard range.

Optional. A photograph you can email us later, a heritage overlay, tricky site access, a cut list — whatever the form did not ask.

Optional. Choose up to five JPG, PNG, WEBP or PDF files, no more than 8 MB each and 15 MB together. They are sent securely with this enquiry.

What you get

  • Australian made — every product, made in our Bayswater workshop since 1984
  • 25 year guarantee — on external LOSP H3 treated pine, above ground
  • An answer within one business day — we reply to enquiries and quote requests
  • In stock, or made in 1 to 4 weeks — some of the range is in stock; the rest is made to order
  • Timber-profile matching — from a photograph, drawing or sample

How do I get a quote?

Email or call. Quotes are free. The workshop confirms the profile, manufacturing price and delivery details before you order.

To get a firm number back the first time, send:

  1. What you need — the product code if you have it (V4, CB23, HR2, FR4), or just a description. We will work out the code.
  2. Quantity — how many posts, or how many lineal metres of fretwork, balustrade or frieze.
  3. Sizes — the section and length for posts; the span between posts for fretwork and balustrade; the opening size for gates, arches and screen doors.
  4. Photographs — see below. These matter more than anything else on the list.
  5. Your delivery address, so freight can be included rather than estimated.

How soon will I hear back?

We answer enquiries within one business day.

How long until I get it?

Some of the range is in stock and ready to go. Anything that has to be made takes 1 to 4 weeks.

What photographs should I send?

If you are matching something that already exists, photographs do most of the work:

  • Shoot the piece square-on, not at an angle.
  • Put a tape measure in the frame, extended along the part you want measured.
  • Add close-ups of the turned sections, the bracket profiles and the rafter ends — the detail is where a match succeeds or fails.
  • If a piece has already come off the building, we would rather have the piece itself than a photograph of it.

Can you match something that is no longer made?

Usually, yes — that is the core of what this joinery does. Ask about our timber-profile matching service; we can work from a photograph, drawing or sample. Send a photograph or the original, and if it can be cut again we will tell you.

Do you make things that are not in the range?

Yes. If a product is not in our standard range we make to your size and style. See custom made designs.

Do you deliver?

We deliver Australia-wide, to your home or to site. Tell us the delivery address when you enquire and freight will be in the quote.
