Timber Verandah Posts for Brisbane
Compare turned timber post profiles, square sizes and overall lengths for a replacement verandah or a new project.
For a Brisbane delivery, start with a confirmed design, dimensions and delivery postcode. Manufacture and freight timing are agreed with the Bayswater workshop.
Need help matching your verandah posts?
You do not need a catalogue code to ask for a quote. Send a photo, drawing or sample details with your measurements. The Bayswater workshop can review what you need and provide a written quotation.
What measurements should I send?
- Overall post length and square size, plus quantity.
- Square top, turned section and square bottom measurements when matching an existing post.
- One full-length photograph and close-ups of the capital, turning and base. Have your builder confirm the structural specification.
- Your delivery postcode and any access restrictions. If you do not have every measurement yet, tell us what you know.
Quote request only — nothing is ordered or charged when you enquire.

- Match the turned shape and the square top and bottom sections separately. A similar-looking turning may still have different proportions.
- Measure the overall post length and the square section. Send photographs of the full post and close-ups of its turning.
- Have the load-bearing suitability, fixings and installation checked for your project. Decorative appearance alone does not establish structural suitability.
Delivery to Brisbane
The standard Queensland delivery rate is $300. Orders of 5.4 metre handrails have a $450 flat interstate delivery rate. Mixed products and unloading requirements need confirmation.
Tell the workshop whether the work is sheltered or exposed and how it will be finished. Ask your installer to confirm the intended material and fixing details for your particular application.
These are delivery charges, not product prices. Final postcode coverage, order contents, GST treatment and any access requirements must be confirmed in your quote. Ask for current production and transit timing.
What to send for an accurate quote
For each post, provide overall height, square size, quantity and the lengths of the square top, turning and square bottom where matching existing work.
Include your Brisbane delivery postcode, site contact and any matching photographs. Heritage supplies from Bayswater, Victoria. This is a delivery service page, not a claim of a Brisbane branch or installation crew.
